Blogs of other scietists
This is an unorganized list of scientific blogs, with thought-provoking posts, useful reference information, or just cool layouts. Sometimes I go down rabbit holes, and this page is a breadcrumb path to my findings.
- https://stephencasper.com/ - listened the talk on youtube by Stephen, titled “How to Do Research That Actually Matters”, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0U5rfF1RJeE
- https://perso.neel.cnrs.fr/valerio.olevano/blog/index.php - read the blogpost on “Peer Review is Wrong”. I enjoyed the originality of the viewpoint. Einstein’s letter he sent to reviewers was also another cool piece of history
- https://terrytao.wordpress.com/ - I do not open the blog in a browser ever, but have it on my RSS feed. Cool thing is that there are a number of invited posts. In September 2026, the blogpost was the hot-spot for following the aftermath of the OpenAI claim of solving the Navier-Stokes equation. A good talk about the problem, presented by Tristan Buckmaster was uploaded on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tn45ZOp3lXM
